Observe the signals that a woman gives you in a meeting. Is she simply being polite chatting to you or is she really interested? If she is in love she will perhaps talk to you but won't try to develop any subsequent involvement with you (see you again). She might be slightly standoffish and get even more so when you try to flirt.

If a woman is actually interested in you she will flirt back and give you some signals that she likes to see you again. She will proffer doing something or meeting or talking or getting together. She will make a point of how she simply enjoyed talking to you, at which stage, you could say that you should talk again or some more and ask for her contact number.

If you are observant you can find out very quickly if a woman is flirting with you or if she is just being polite. Now if she is serious about you, and you show confidence enough to not ask if she is seeing someone, you will usually score a few points with her.
